When God Is Silent

At one time or another, we’ve all looked back on the history of the Jews and wondered, Where was God? We may also ask this question about our own struggles, whether a cancer diagnosis, abuse, or unfair treatment. The Tanakh sheds light on our suffering and shows us the origin of evil. It unveils God’s plan to end evil while preserving our free will and ability to love. This magazine looks at how God is accomplishing that plan, even at a cost to Himself.
